# Data Privacy and Your Rights

> Consent controls, data export, and how to exercise your CCPA data rights in Poodle AI.

Poodle AI gives you controls over how your data is used and supports your rights under privacy laws such as the CCPA.

## Consent categories

From your privacy settings, you can independently control consent for:

* Analytics
* Marketing
* Personalization
* Functional
* Social media
* Third-party sharing
* Do Not Sell / Do Not Share

Every change you make is timestamped and recorded in a consent audit log, along with how the change was made.

## Your rights

## Requesting your data (export)

You can request an export of your data at any time. It's queued for processing, and you'll be notified when it's ready to download.

  Exports are limited to one request per day per account. Download links expire 7 days after the export is ready.

## Requesting deletion

Deletion requests require you to confirm your account email, and a verification email is sent before the deletion is processed. Once confirmed, deletion is completed within 45 days, in line with applicable law.

## Where to manage this

Consent preferences and data requests are managed from your account **Settings**. Opting out of sale/sharing is applied immediately; access, deletion, and portability requests are processed within the timeframes above.
