This page covers the full mechanics of an Agent Bots session, from setup to review.

1. Choose a persona and personality

Each scenario has a set of personas (for example, different gatekeepers on a Cold Call, or different investor types on an Investor Pitch). Select a persona, then choose a personality trait that determines how they’ll behave in the conversation — for example, more skeptical or more receptive.

2. Set up the meeting

Before joining, you’ll fill in a short setup form:
  • Basic information — context the AI persona needs, such as what you’re selling or the situation you’re walking into.
  • Assets — optionally attach supporting material, like a deck or one-pager, for the persona to reference.
  • Additional personas — optionally add more AI participants to the same session, for example to simulate a multi-stakeholder call.
  • Invite teammates — optionally invite colleagues by email to join the session with you.
Sessions consume minutes from your plan’s allowance. If you’re out of minutes, you’ll need to upgrade your plan or wait for your allowance to renew before you can launch a new session. Adding extra AI personas increases the minutes a session will use — you’ll see a preview of the cost before you launch if that applies.

3. Check your devices and join

On the pre-join screen, confirm your microphone and camera selection. You’ll see avatar previews of the AI personas waiting in the session before you join.

4. During the session

Once connected, talk through the scenario as you would a real conversation. Depending on the scenario, you may be able to add or remove additional AI personas mid-call.
If you close the tab or navigate away while a session you started is active, you’ll be asked to confirm — leaving accidentally would end the session for everyone in it.

5. Ending a session

What happens when you end the call depends on your role:
  • If you started the session: ending it ends the meeting for everyone, including any AI personas, and kicks off analysis of the full conversation.
  • If you joined someone else’s session: leaving only removes you. The session continues until the person who started it ends it.

6. Reviewing your results

After a session ends, you’re redirected to that session’s entry in Session History while analysis processes in the background. Once it’s ready, you’ll see the transcript, recording, and score.
